Additional Information: The 6,000 Year Old Swamp Kauri was growing during the ice age when Woolly Mammoths were roaming and was buried by natural cataclysmic events. The tree was discovered by a utility company which were preparing to install utility poles and they came across a huge Kauri tree buried in the ground in New Zealand. The tree was removed and pieces were sent for carbon-dating and these were determined to be over 6,000 years old. This particular piece of Swamp Kauri was salvaged and has intense swirly figure with varying shades of color.

The Curly Eucalyptus is from a storm-damaged tree on the North Island of New Zealand near Tongariro National Park. This piece of Curly Eucalyptus has nice curls and some color streaks interspersed throughout. The light colored Curly Eucalyptus provides a nice contrast to the 6,000 Year Old Swamp Kauri.
