The Box Elder Burl comes from a storm-damaged tree that was part of
the original trees planted during the Mormon migration to Utah. This
particular piece has lots of figure, veins and birdseye.
The Amboyna Burl is a rare, exotic hardwood that has a fragrant aroma. This particular Amboyna Burl came from the jungles of Cambodia and was transported by elephant. This piece has lots of figure and provides great contrast with the Box Elder Burl. |
