Information:
The Buckeye Burl comes from a burl stump found in the southern
Sierra foothills in California. This piece of Buckeye Burl has nice
figure. The spalt,
present in this piece of wood, created the bluish gray color.The
Ebony is from Gabon Africa and provides a nice contrast to the
Buckeye Burl.
The Box Elder Burl comes from a
storm-damaged tree that was part of the original trees planted during
the Mormon migration to Utah. This particular piece has lots of
figure, character and birdseye. |
