Information:
The Curly
Koa
came from a guy who supplies AAA Instrument Grade Koa to renowned
guitar makers. This wood was harvested on the
Big Island in Hawaii from a storm-damaged tree near Hilo. This
piece has nice 3-D chatoyance
and
big curls.
The Box Elder Burl comes from a storm-damaged tree that was part of the original trees planted during the Mormon migration to Utah. This particular piece has lots of figure, veins and birdseye. |
