Information:
The Curly
Koa
came from a guy who supplies AAA Instrument Grade Koa to renowned
guitar makers. This wood was harvested on the
Big Island in Hawaii from a storm-damaged tree near Hilo. This
piece has
fantastic
chatoyance
3-D
tight curls. The Pepper Burl comes from a tree removed for construction near Ventura, California. This piece has lots of figure and crevices which provides a nice contrast to the Curly Koa. This folder has a "beefy" heavy duty thicker frame for added strength. |
