Each knife is made with Presentation Grade Woods. These trees are extremely rare and occur in about one out of one thousand trees of the species and the particular rare tree yields less than one per cent of useable wood. Many of these magnificent rare trees have died because of storm or insect damage. Hence, you can be assured that your knife is one-of-a-kind and made with the best that Mother Nature has to offer.
