Information:
The
Curly
Koa
came from a guy who supplies AAA Instrument Grade Koa to renowned
guitar makers. This wood was harvested on the
Big Island in Hawaii from a storm-damaged tree near Hilo. This
piece has
fantastic
chatoyance
3-D
tight curls.
The
Spalted Beech came from a saw mill in South-Central Pennsylvania.
This particular saw mill owner collects unique primo one-of-a-kind
pieces of wild looking woods for me. This piece of Spalted Beech has
been stabilized
for strength and has black line and brown spalt.
This
folder has a "beefy" heavy duty thicker frame for added
strength.
