The Pheasant Wood comes from Maui and is from a tree that was cut down because
of road construction. This particular piece of Pheasant Wood has lots of
character with
worm
holes filled in with poop
and has both
Heartwood
and Sapwood
to give contrasting colors.
The Ebony is from Gabon Africa and provides a nice contrast to the Pheasant Wood. This folder has holes in the frame to reduce weight. |
