The Quilted Maple came from an Oregon saw mill that produces woods
for guitars. This piece of Quilted Maple is exceptional because it
has both Heartwood
and Sapwood
which
makes a two-tone appearance. This piece also has real nice deep 3-D Chatoyance
typical of AAAA-Grade presentation wood.
The African Blackwood is an exotic wood native to Eastern Africa. This piece provides a nice contrast with the Quilted Maple. |
