Information:
The Snakewood is from Suriname, South America and is one of the
worlds hardest woods. This wood is usually chopped down with axes
and carried on the backs of hard working natives over streams and
through snake infested jungle areas. Each tree that is chopped
down is monitored, and the government has developed a strict permit
process to control harvesting. This particular piece has real
nice figure about as good as it gets. The
Curly Eucalyptus came from the North Island of New Zealand. This
particular piece has real nice 3-D chatoyance,
a worm hole for character, and provides
great contrast to the Snakewood.
